For a cocktail with a little bit of a kick, try the Elderberry Sour. Made with freshly squeezed lemon juice, gin, and elderberry syrup, this cocktail is the perfect balance of sweet and sour. The elderberry adds a fruity sweetness that perfectly complements the tartness of the lemon juice, making for a cocktail that’s both refreshing and flavorful.
2 oz whiskey
1 oz lemon juice
In a shaker, combine whiskey, lemon juice, Trisha’s Elderberries Elderberry Syrup or Shrub, and egg white (if using). Shake well.
Fill the shaker with ice and shake again.
Strain the mixture into a glass over ice.
Garnish with a cherry and enjoy!
