If you’re ready for that first unmistakable feeling of fall, Village Peddler Festival in Kirtland, Ohio is a beautiful place to find it. For more than four decades, this beloved Northeast Ohio tradition has transformed Lake Metroparks Farmpark into a sprawling outdoor marketplace filled with more than 175 artists, artisans and specialty makers. Set across 235 acres of a working farm, it’s the kind of festival made for wandering past gardens and barns, through rows of handmade goods and one-of-a-kind finds, with live music in the background and something delicious waiting at the next food truck. Come hungry. Wear comfortable shoes. And give yourself time to explore.
You’ll find handmade jewelry, home décor, furniture, accessories, art, seasonal pieces and specialty foods alongside all the character of Farmpark itself. It’s less about racing through rows of booths and more about spending a September day outside with people you love, discovering something you didn’t know you were looking for. And while you’re wandering, make Trisha’s Elderberries one of your stops.
We’ll be sampling our small-batch elderberry syrups, sipping vinegars, culinary concentrates and seasonal favorites throughout the weekend. If you’ve never tasted Trisha’s Elderberries before, this is your chance to taste your way through the collection, ask questions and discover just how different elderberry can be when it isn’t overly sweet, thick or syrupy.
